Get Involved
Hillside is a large enough church that it would be easy to just come on Sunday mornings and remain fairly anonymous. But if you really want to get connected and grow, the best thing to do is jump in and get involved. There are many different ways to do that. Browse through this information and take the next step. You'll be glad you did!
Probably the best place to start is taking the Alpha Course. Alpha is offered twice a year and is a great opportunity to get to know some people while taking a look at what you believe and why. It is a great place to start regardless of where you're coming from. (more about Alpha)
Another way to get involved is by joining a small group. Small groups are groups of 4 to 12 people who come together to live life, learn and grow in their relationships with God and each other. (more about small groups)
There are many opportunities to volunteer at or through Hillside. If you really want to plug in, serve and get to know some people, join one of the trips to Casa de la Esperanza, an orphanage we work with in Tijuana. If that is too big of a step browse through our "Serve" pages. There are numerous places to join teams serving at Hillside, locally and globally. Whether it is helping with the youth, preparing meals for the homeless, greeting people on Sunday mornings, or helping out in the church office, there is a place for you to get involved through serving.
